I think of the 301 bobbins as being 'flatter' than most others so sounds as if it may be a good possibility. I know you'll be happy to get home to play with it.

Have a 301 w/the "flip up"bed on it but no cabinet~would like to see the cabinet if you will send pictures. Have a safe trip back home.
