Default Aprils SP Swap

I received the most wonderful swap package from Haveplenty on Mon. I have been trying hard to post pictures.

Haveplenty was so generous. She knows I am trying to reduce clutter in my life, so I received an appropriate O Magazine, and journal to log my progress, many handy helpful gizmos, such as a letter opener, pedometer, which I am already using, several helpful sewing guides from JoAnns and Hobby Lobby, a calender, a too cute spring chick towel, some rooster fabrics, and some other cute fabrics, dark chocolate raisinets, (yummy!), a heart healthy recipe book,a magnetic notepad, a picture album, appliance cover pattern, and the cutest spring table scarf. Hopefully you can see the neat way she nested the buttons when she embellished it.

Thanks so much Havplenty! I have been in the swap three times, and Havplenty has gifted me twice. Amazing! Mary

Wow, I get busy for a few days and miss a ton! I cannot pick a favorite quilt, they are all so beautiful! I love the red and white and the baskets and the pink and brown and the green stripe... I could go on and on! They are all just gorgeous!

I loved doing this swap, but may have to take May off, things have gotten rather busy. Also, I have never done a crazy quilt, not sure I would know where to begin!

Oh, I hope you can take part in May. The crazy quilt is optional so just make something nice like you always do.

NinaLemon, take a look at the ideas in the group postings. You might get inspired.

With being a young Mother of 2. I can understand how life can get so busy. Don't let yourself get overwhelmed. Do what you can do! Remember you don't have to do what they suggest and can do something real simple. Whatever you decide, if we don't see you in May, we know we will see you when you get caught up on things. You were a great partner!!!!!

Mays Crazy quilt will be a real challenge for me....I like to do things fairly structured and have my quilts really neat and symmetrical.....but I love the idea of a challenge and trying something new.....am scouring the internet for ideas, whilst scouring my boxes for appropriate fabrics.....so I am certainly in for May.....just pity my partner !

One thing I am really looking forward to with Mays quilt is trying out as many of my built in decorative stitches on my machine as possible.....this is sounding more fun the more I explore Crazy quilts.
