    Amazing! I loved working temp because I could check out the job's environment without having to make a commitment to the job. Did it for 3 years and every time I was offered the job I could refuse without explanation. Man, some offices were unbelievable. It wasn't the work, it was the people. When I did take a perm. position, I worked for a wonderful boss - made all the difference!

    Was the chair chained to something else, or was the chain just wrapped around the wheels so it couldn't roll? If not chained to something, I would just pick it up and move it to where you sat. Then wait for the next move. If that chair was that important, he/she should have just asked, face to face, that you not use it.

    I would confront her and say "why be so rude about an honest mistake? I had no way of knowing no one was allowed to sit in that chair but you and it didn't have a reserved sign on it. Believe me I'll never sit in it again as I would be afraid I'd catch the how rude can I be virus". I learned a long time ago if you confront and ask the obvious the dolts always back off fast.
