thank you , krystyna! anyone who expects perfection, raise your hand.
see? no one did. not one hand is raised! that's because, no does expect perfection. we all do the best we can. the night before last i was ready to throw out the dq i made for april's swap, because it just wasn't perfect. and yesterday i realised that i had done the best i could. it's where i am right now, in terms of my quilting skills. i was, however, kind of happy with the way the binding came out ( which i put on last night). i must say tho', i spent alot of time trying to thread the needle at the pointed end. it might be time for new glasses, but i'm pretty sure i sewed the binding on in the right place. seriously..... and i consider myself a 'confident beginner'. ( which i think means i'm too new at this to know it's too hard for me so i just do it anyway,) ( oh, yes, and i love parenthesis and exclamation points, and i talk to myself!) so as nike says-- just do it!

I'm up for partnering with someone new to quilting/swaps/DQ's etc. I am in no way perfect in my quilting! I'm thrilled that May in Quilty Chaos since many of mine come out Wonky without trying! ugh!
