Oh my, aren't those babies just too cute, I want to reach out and hug them - I really wanna be a grandma

Oh joy too, I think I have about reached the HALF WAY mark of quilting vanogay's quilt - I think I should have chosen an easier quilting pattern when I decided to hand quilt it *sigh*

I posted a cheat block for Whigrose quilt. Not sure if I can use it, idea did not work the way I thought it was. My quilt group would laugh at me if they knew because they would say I was cutting again without thinking. That is what I did, I am cured now.

QuilterMomma,
You must be burning through a pair of shoes! Whoa, you're having waaaay too much fun. I'm jealous. All that shopping. Heck, the is one lqs I go to ('bout 40 minutes away :-) JUST for their clearance fabrics.

I will be pm-ing you shortly.

Oh, and ah, 'Happy Mother's Day'. Don't you need more fabric? :-)

best,
d

QUOTE=QuilterMomma;5186037]Ok Whigrose, I had to go and get a few more extra fabrics to make this 30s quilt work, then ran out of the awesome white I was using and, of course, can't find it again. Oh what to do. So hopefully the ones I just picked up are going to work. Then the fabric store moved their 30s prints to back of store. Good thing the budget says you can't look at all the good stuff on the way to the back of the store. Then the BOM I have been doing for the last year, ok, two years, is down to the last two finish packages so I had to get that before I should. Well, it will be my Mother's Day gift (LOL). I am going to finish this quilt this week if it kills me.[/QUOTE]

Would you believe they gave me a Starbucks card for Proffessional Assistance Day? I have been up since 3:21am for daughter to airport by 4:30 am had three cups at home and two at office, one was from Starbucks. Guess what!

No wonder I finished 4 18" blocks this am.

I did reply. And then you sent a note back to me (re:heart attack). I'm still at 25% but working on it. It's slow going but I do hope to be done by the deadline. Rose L
