I am a day late in getting on the board. So glad I did tonight or I might have missed the chance to see dh bowls. Those are beautiful and so much work--what a wonderful hobby for him. Thanks for sharing

Gorgeous bowls! That looks so much harder than quilting. I can't even imagine how it is possible.

Wow! If you ever come to the SF Bay area, we have wood working store called Japan Woodworking. It has amazing Japanese ( and other) tools, and going there is really fun. They have a big bench with scrap wood on it, and almost every hand tool they sell out to play with. When I go there to buy shellac i have to chant "you don't need another hobby, you don't need another hobby" because the place is intoxicating! Does your DH sell his work?

That is not only woodcraft, it is absolutely, stunningly beautiful art! Your husband is very talented, and it is so nice that you enjoy each other's crafts.
