I love your quilt. It is just as wonderful as everyone elses. Be proud and be LOUD! You did a great job. Is your avatar a rabbit? It really is cute.

Yes. That was Buddy. He was a rescue from the shelter. He'd lived in a pet store until he was 3 and then was surrendered by the pet store to the pound! He was very friendly and we could put him in the funniest poses and he would just lay there like a little rag doll!! He is the only rabbit we have had that would rather be in a lap and would climb up on you and lick you like a puppy!! He's in heaven, eating Doritos and drinking tea with the angels now!! When we had him, we had 5 rabbits but down to one now, our Princess, who's rotten to the core and quite the snob lol

    Default Another one

The original one is for my dad and I made this one for my Mom. I didn't use any of the purple animal print fabric in his, and I used a LOT in hers!!

I got some rayon variegated thread and I wanted to try it out. I'm breakin' all the rulz! The quilt is still stabilized with polyester thread, so I think it will be ok. She won't wash it much anyway! I wanted to do some different quilting with it too, so I filled in the flowers on the big squares. I did a little flower on the small squares and didn't do anything on the rectangles. I was disappointed in how the variegated looked on different prints (looks good on the solids!) and so I skipped the sashings. I still need to square it up and bind it and wash it.

    Enjoy!
