Greenini, you have a wonderful husband. Wrong shape candy???? Oh please! I think I know what I'd do with that candy!
A couple of months ago I knew that May was coming ... in all its glorious depressing ways ... so I bought myself an Accuquilt Go. Today I am buying some bait and intend to spend the day at the pier fishing. By myself. And I don't care.
I love fishing and haven't had the time to do it for a couple of years so ... if anyone wants breakfast, lunch or dinner, they can come and gut it for themselves! Oh, and DH ... don't bother looking for the car. It will be with me ... full of fishing poles, my tackle box, a cooler for my catch and bait. Your junk will be on the porch.
Way to go!! Enjoy your fishing. Hope ya get big ones. Mary

Oh Teresa....My heart feels for you facing this 'first' Mother's Day without your Mother....they say, the first year is the hardest....don't know if I agree. This will be the 13th without my Mom and it's still difficult, so many times I still wish I could reach for the phone for her advice and encouragement....when we lose our parents we indeed understand orphan. Sending warm quilty hugs to you my friend.

Lets see if my computer is going to "play" nice with me now.

This computer is REALLY starting to get on my LAST nerve that
is for sure. I NEED a job so I can buy me another desktop, even
though I do have "other" computers that I could use such as my
netbook and my notebook I DO NOT want to turn them into the
"main" computer on my desk.

I received my 2nd sp package from Ladybug 1938, and it is a great
box filled full of awesome goodies.

So here goes:

Picture #1

6 pocket organizer (sorry Kiko would not get off of it)
Fabric book cover
Craft glove
Two patterns (one Christmas tree skirt etc. & one of vests)

Picture #2

Catherine Coulter book series - I had been trying for a LONG time to get
this series in audiobook format to no avail. Now I can just read them.
American Quilter magazine from April 23 2008 - love this also
Clip on book light

Picture #3

Homemade tissue holder in purple with tissues
Package of 8 magnets
Homemade card pocket that came with a coin
Sequin start shaped fuchsia color key ring
Compact tote bag
Kaleidoscope looking glass (so cool, never had one before)
2 of the 4 cat toys which the "dude" (aka Gizmo) was waiting
for me to finish with. From the minute the box came in from
the mailbox he has been stuck to it knowing there was something
inside for him (and the other 3 kids).

Picture #4

Row marking flags
Safety pins (thank goodness I seem to have misplaced my big box of of them)
AWESOME (and very pretty) fabrics
Blackcurrent tea
Chocolate, Cinnamon & hazelnut coffee
Caramel truffle coffee
Adorable kitty card.

Rosemary thank you again so much for this awesome box packed
full of goodies.

Hi Ms. Mary.... Yes, not only was the fabric bee-u-tiful it has such a nice hand to it. Brenda did an excellent job!

Gosh it's always good to hear from you....I posted this message before I hope it doesn't duplicate but I didn't see the one so I'm re-posting....wacky computers????? Or maybe on an off chance it's me and not the computer???? NAH. :0)

Anyway Mary... I'm catching up on about a dozen pages of posts and I 'think' it was you that posted that all roads lead from MO???? Well got to thinking and sure nuf....DH Mom was raised in Frankford near Hannibal and all his sibs were born in Marthasville. So here's another story to validate your theory!

Have a GREAT DAY my friend.

Oh my! Onalee! Keep your panties on! I really love being at the pier. It is so peaceful. It's actually only a couple of blocks away and I could easily walk, but I don't want to drag all my gear down there in a little red wagon. There are a group of retired men there and I just adore them. They're always trying to give me helpful hints on how to fish. I just smile and thank them and keep pulling in one after the next while they're yaking away. I took a photo with my phone the last time that happened. So go get decent and come on by ...

What a GREAT package Louise....my question I may have 'dreamed' this but isn't the Kaleidoscope used in quilting??? Something about looking at your selection of fabrics through the prisms .... Okay it's now official I'm ________ (you fill in the blank.... :0)
