I like the top- a little more unusual.

In places where four stars come together, put your LeMoyne stars where you only have one or two stars (the outside peremeters) put the sawtooth but I would limit my star points to that teal color so it all ties together nicely. You have picked some gorgeous fabrics for this project.
I agree with Feline Fanatic. I'd incorporate both blocks. An entire quite of block #1 may be boring, but if you use some of the #2 as well, I think you'll be pleased with the outcome.

Love this idea and maybe will use it for a second quilt. I decided to go go with #1 for now and with leftover fabric plan on doing another one and this will be it! Thanks so much.

Thank you all for your advice and opinions! Loved reading each comment and suggestion. Will post when completed.

I am pulled more to the first one, but they both are beauties. Why not do one of each? Either one will be beautiful.

Both are very pretty, but I like #2 the best.
