Check out a book by Bethany Reynolds, she's the queen of stack and whack. Her books give very detailed instructions along with lots of photos ( I need LOTS of photos!) I check books out of the library to start out, then decided to buy the books because after the first stack and whack quilt I knew I'd be making lots more.
Here's a picture of the original fabric before snw and then a rerun of the wip. Would you believe that I found this fabric in my 84 year old Mom's stash?

I think you chose an ideal name for it! Love the colors and sashing and the stack n whack blocks are great! Can't wait to find time to try that.

Gorgeous colours. The warm yellow down the centre makes me think something in this colour for an outside border???? Look forward to the final result.

It's hard to see in the pictures, but I'm using the yellow for the first and last vertical rows of cornerstones. I thought that I needed to carry the yellow from the center out to the edges of the quilt too. It's not a lot more yellow, but enough to tie it in.

Hey, the RULE for stack-n-whacks is to show the original fabric - because my mind is small and can't imagine the difference a little cutting and twisting makes. Gorgeous, by the way.

Love the quilt and would love to se a sample of the original fabric. It is so much fun to see the before and after. Sometimes the ugliest farbric turns stunning after it is cut up. I'm not saying your fabric is ugly just that this is a wonderful phenomenom that happens.

Get some close up shots too. They are so pretty and a closer look would be great!
peace

EDIT: I just want to say that some threads are so popular that I really don't have time to read all the posts but want to reply. Sorry to be repetitiveat times like this.
