Finally out my head and in fabric
#13
You did a marvelous job of getting those dragon fly thoughts in your head onto fabric. What a wonderful job you did, and I'm very partial to dragon flys. I had to go take another look. I have a sister in New Mexico that was just telling me about snow dying. What a concept. She picked me up 2 fat quarters at a local craft show. Some day I'll get them, but she said I have to come and get them. Hummmm Road to to New Mexico.

I am at a loss for words. This is so amazingly, stunningly beautiful. The dying, the quilting, the thread painting. I could stare at it for hours. I am sure the pictures do NOT do it justice. I would love to see this in person.

Drat this new format!!! No matter what I do I still get a picture so huge that I have to move the cursor over and up and down to get snipets of the image. It has made this site a very challenging one to enjoy the quilts.
From what I can see your dragonfly is gorgeous and so is your quilting!!! Congrats on the exhibit!
