Florence, you really put some thought into the different rides after we talked about a bike ride. Great suggestions, will have to put some thought into this. And love what you said, here about the dirty dog JJ. LOL. My DH adored Sandra Bullock, and he watched JJ's show, but absolutely hated that his Sandra married JJ. Too bad he didn't live long enough to see Sandra dump his butt!
As to the comments about the next mystery, have no idea when it will be. Haven't even come up with an idea yet. Give me a couple months.

Layer Cake Bandit would be Robert Mitchem as in 'River of No Return'

wondering if anyone else here remembers that one from movie theaters rather than late nite TV

I'm a sap for classic movies and if our bandit looks like Robert Mitchem - oh the thought - no resistance from me.

Don't remember the movie - but if I started watching it I could tell you if I had watched it before.

off subject - I haven't posted my photos of completed step four - I need to clean my iron and am at a loss on how to remove the black yuck that is stuck to it - any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I'll hop aboard and hang out in the observation car as well and watch as the quilts all come together. I just have to bring some of my Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. Mmmm, melts in your mouth.

I use Faultless hot iron cleaner.....says it even works on gunk from fuseables...I do not use fuseables so no experience with that.

but between now and when you can go to a store....

If you have a generous sized piece of muslin or an old pillowcase you can place it on top of your rectangles and then iron...... that will protect the rectangles but will really mess up the press cloth, so be sure it is not something valuable.
