Default 1st large quilt (queen) project completed

I saw this pattern in a book and it was referred to as"Trip to California". I just did it on my own since no instructionswere given. While the quilt is not perfect by any means, I am mighty pleasedwith it. I have been quilting since last fall and have been strictlyself-taught. I am going to try hand quilting it. So I am setting myself up fora long-term project. Thanks for looking.

Sorry I got two images and also I just noticed there are some light spots on the pict. (Fortunately they are not on the actual quilt.

You did a great job with the four patch and the half square triangles.
Keep quilting

Your quilt is just gorgeous. Like your fabric choices. Good luck with the hand quilting.
