Interesting technique for basting without pins
To me it seems a method more trouble then it's worth but I thought I'd share in case others might like to see the way it's done.

I've shown so many quilters here in the U.K. how to it this Sharon Schamber way and they are all converted! Not perhaps ideal for really large quilts but for others it's great. Banishes any wrinkles in top or bottom and you can do it sitting down - a great bonus for us oldies.

I was taught Sharon's method at a quilt demo a my quilting group... My husband made me two super smooth boards to use. I use this method for wall quilts and lap quilts... some time I pin if they are small. I enjoyed the refresher on her method.
