Hi all, Patti got the quilt I made her and she loves it. I must have been on this pc 500 times today waiting to hear from Patti in Michigan. Happy dancing here in Tn. & Michigan tonight. She loves it. Can you imagine that. What a great feeling hearing that from a person you haven't even met. Best of all, now I know how it feels getting a quilt, not fabric, not the pattern, not the what color do I use, but the excitement that someone actually made me a quilt and some how knew the colors I would love. Now that's pretty special if you ask me. All of this came about through Jilliane with her special powers of putting us with very special partners, Bless you Jilliane. I'm so happy tonight and it's 1:00 am and can't even sleep. Sleep tight quilters, I'm going to bed. I will post pics. tomorrow.

Woo Hoo!! My BEAUTIFUL Australian quilt arrived - and sorry ladies, but mine is the prettiest I"ve seen on this QB!! PLUS - IT"S HAND QUILTED!! I am truly humbled that someone (Lynnie25) would hand quilt for someone she's never met. You ladies are just awesome. Jillaine, thank you for doing this swap - and I'm ready for the next one, count me in. Picture posted below if I can get this thing to work properly -----

Jigs, those are wonderful progress photos. thanks for sharing. The process is always fun to look at. So glad you could finally rest. I know that feeling. Wow, we are great quilters on this board. All of us.

Wuv2quilt, I have finally finished the quilting and the binding is going on nicely. Hope to still make the deadline. Husband has done a little better with chemo so I was able to do some simple machine quilting. I wish I could of sent it out to be quilted but I hope you will still enjoy all of my love I've put into it just for you. Now I have to get busy. It won't be long now.

Kathleen, what a lovely pic of you sitting under your quilt. I am just so happy it arrived safely and you like it and it was a pleasure to be able to do the hand quilting on your quilt - it was a lot less stressful than if I had attempted to do the same by machine
