Default Anyone live near Marietta, Ohio

    Hi,

I've been a member here for quite some time although I have not been on much. I recently relocated to Marietta, OH (for a while) and wanted to know if anyone else on the board lives close by. Would love to meet and get together sometime.

    sorry, not very close(3+ hrs).
since you are in Ohio you must take a road trip up toward Holmes county. Many nice shops for fabric and good eats, too.

I'm in Knox County, so not close, but I do get to Marietta about once a month or so. There is an amazing quilt store there (though I can't remember what it is called-not the one downtown-though that one might be nice). I can always use an excuse to go to Marietta and look at fabric and have coffee.

Country Charm Fabrics would be on your way. She used to be right off 250 near Ashland. Recently moved to a bigger place in Hayesville, about 5 miles away. She is really nice, a very friendly place.

Since you will be in Berlin swing by Zincks on 39. It's a big warehouse-type building. You never know what you might find but you can usually pick up some good deals. Not fancy but a fun place to stop.

Somewhere Sewing is a very nice shop with great prices on fabric. It is just outside of Millersburg, you will hit it before Mrs. Miller's Dry Goods.

I'm in Ohio, but in Middletown, not close to you. Bummer. Good luck finding a fellow quilter nearby.

I live in Huntington, WEST VIRGINIA. My daughter lived in Marietta for 10 years and I used to visit her about twice a month. It is a two hour drive. There are 4 quilt shops in the area. Puzzle Place and Quilters Corner in Marietta, Neff's Country Loft in Belpre, OH and Wooden Willow across the bridge in Williamstown, WV. I am sending you a PM
