    Yes, microwaved sweet corn is the best. I cook mine 2 minutes then turn it over and do another 2 minutes.
    Sure beats the water in the kettle method like my Mom used to do .

    In the video he did 8 min. He had 4 ears sitting there but maybe he only cooked 2.

    O MY gosh it works PERFECT used to do it all the time.. WHen I get my wires out ( trying to get jaw bones fixed from degeneration)that is the first thing I M going to get to eat:O)

    I do this and cut off the large end put on an oven mitt and just squeeze the corn from the silk end and it comes right off. I found this easier than shaking it and no burnt hands.

    Yes it is 4 min. per ear so if you cook 4 ears it would be 16 min. It works perfect every time
