I just got this month's package from T Vander Kuy, no screen name that I can find. I'll PM Lori next. I had asked for the small twister ruler and she sent it! Thanks so much, I've wanted it forever and just not gotten around to getting it.
She also sent a box of candy I've never seen before called Spree and a nice big tin of quilting pins, plus a ton of all kinds and sizes of lovely bright material. Thanks so much, I love it all.

Robin there are to many people who don't acknowledge any type packages on the threads... Can understand about being away and having health issues, have my share for the past 3 weeks... Life does get in the way and when that happens if we would just let the Swap hostess know we are going away or maybe a friend on the thread... Just a thought and may help a few people... Also read the rules especially if you are new to any swap, as most are different in some ways... Most of all have fun with the swap and let everyone enjoy it with you ... God Bless Rosemary

Marybeth so sorry to hear about your fall... I haven't been reading a whole lots the past 3 weeks as I ended up with a Upper Respiratory infection,,, 75% better now, few more pills to take and hopefully won't have to go through another round like I did in the Spring... We have had a good rain here since 2 this afternoon an real gully washer for about an hour then, now just a nice rain... Don't help with the other stuff... but hey It's life and Hell to get old..

Hugs
Rosemary

Boy, the very best to all the swappers here that have had some sort of health problem, Mary Todd and Twinkie and Mooretll to name a few - my prayers are with you and your families for health and healing. I've had surgeries on my hands because of my arthritis, but not both at one time.
Well, my box got here today and I'll try to post the pictures at the end of this. I sent a PM to Lori and tried to send one to my SP, but totally misread her board name in the card she enclosed. I finally found it through reading all the posts here *(don't worry Lori about sending it to me - I did find it and send a PM to her). Thank you Debbie for the things you sent. Got a thread box, a new (hopefully sharper then the one I have now) ripper, needles an applique pattern, a miter ruler and fabric in purples (my favorite) . Let's see if the pictures load. First one is of Que helping me open the package right after it got here.

Well first off... I feel horrible! I am one of the bad swappers.. sigh... will get better, I promise Lori! I know where my brain is, honestly.. just dealing with EEOC issues.
However, received a beautiful package from Saraaev, aka Sara. Such a wonderful letter was included, what a beautiful soul she is! Here is the photo. The tweezers are just the cutest thing along with the scissors and tons of my favorite colors, also when I opened that package the lavender scent was awesome! I put the sachet (spelling) in my truck! There were two packages of good n plenty, but I chowed one!
Look how generous Sara is!! Thank you so much Sara!

Default my box

I received my box from my secret pal yesterday. She made me a lovely hot pad with a bee in it and then two more crocheted ones. I love the fabric, thread cutter, book mark and a needle book. Thank you brwn_eyedgirl.

Again sorry for not being on for awhile, am still not feeling the best but get to start PT again tomorrow for my back. Yeah~~I also am going through a few issues here at the apartments as the man who lived across the hall from me commited suicide on the 5th of July. He was there for the BBQ we had and Ate alot of watermelon and then went with his son and granchildren to watch the fireworks and then about 7am he went outside and sat on the bench under a tree and shot himself. We all feel so bad that he didn't feel like he could turn to any of us. So sad. It has just thrown me off alittle.

Hey good evening everyone! Such great pkgs received again today! Love the bee fabric Nexxus831.
Marybeth - Praying for you and hoping you're feeling a little better tomorrow.
Rosemary - We also had ourselves a nice little storm over here this afternoon.
Actually got to sew again today, no grandbabies this week until Thursday.
Off topic alert - My parents have decided to take all their Great Grandbabies and their youngest Grandson to the Smokey Mountains next week and want me to go along. (They decided this on Sunday) But all their GGK are mines except for 1, so makes perfect sense. LOL! No their parents are not going. (But my neice is going with her daughter, because I don't want to have to turn around and bring her all the way back to FL.) They are all so very excited! Should be a exciting, event filled trip! Know we'll have alot of fun! There are 12 of us going so say alittle prayer for us all! Wish I had time to go to some quilt shops but I think that will have to wait until October!

Marybeth I hope you are feeling a bit better...my MIL always used to say "This too shall pass"...hope it is very soon.

Lori so sad about your neighbor...so sad for his family...I guess life is just too much for some of us. Prayers are with you and your neighbors as well as for him and his family.

Still waiting for my package...I am leaving on the 20th until the 28th so if it arrives during that time I won't be able to thank you until I get back.
