Default Bonnet Girls - Fifteenth in Series - My Garden

Hi, I just finished the fifeenth block in my series...Now, trying to decide on rather or not to make 20, or stop at 16. I want it to fit a full size bed. I'm not very good at figuring these kinds of things..lol..I am also posting a pic of all the blocks that I have finished...

Please take a look at them all together...I'm thinking that I need to do Evie and her ducks over again, I colorized the background on her block...The rest of the blocks are more plain..Any comments on this would be appreciated. Also, Farewell, I'm wondering if she looks too small compared to the rest of the blocks..

    Hope you like them.

I love the old fashioned look to these
Bonnet Girls, as opposed to Sunbonnet Sue. Where would I be able to find the Bonnet Girl Patterns?

The picture is hard for me to tell in detail. I'm not sure I could deside for you. I'd have to think about it awhile!! They are all wonderful. I got the book in the mail today and haven't had time to look at it much. What size are your blocks?

You can find the patterns and the two books at www.bonnetgirls.com
I think there are 158 patterns, not sure if the two books are included in the 158 patterns.

I can't imagine how you have done these so quickly. Did you have them all prepped before you started sewing. They are machine appliquéd right? Did you use fusible something first? Hand embroidery? I would think you might want 4 more, given the dimensions and proportions of the bed. Are you going to use sashing? If you do four more, you might include some more colorized backings and scatter them among the others. Otherwise, I wouldn't change it. They are so wonderful!

I would leave them the way they are. Farewell has to have the ship leaving in it, of course, and her size just emphasizes how far away it is going (in my humble opinion!). Can't really tell about the block with ducks, but looks like it blends well enough in this photo. If it is too striking a difference to you, make another and use this block to make a pillow - it would certainly look great alone. They are all so wonderful!
