I'm looking for a paper piecing pattern for a simple five-point star in a plain block. Does it have to be made in segments and then joined? Or is there a way to do the whole thing from one pattern?

It would be done in segments and then sewn together :D:D:D

    NativeTexan (me, too!)

Thanks EVER SO MUCH for the link to the Quilters Cache. I have a pattern by Joanna Figueroa which was already divided into segments, but no matter how I worked it, I couldn't make sense of it on paper piecing!

I'd checked Quilters Cache site earlier, but obviously overlooked this one. It's IDEAL.
    THANK YOU!

Another Texan here. I found the perfect star it can even be shaded just like our Texas stars should be. It's at paper piņache and I'm waiting to hear from the administer to see if I can get the directions. She calls it a military star
