I am not familiar with that machine but my 3 machines are all brothers and I love them. So I bet I'd love this newest one too.

I stopped in at my local sewing machine dealer yesterday to pick up some supplies and while talking with the owner, I asked her about the brother v series. She stated she just returned from a demo offered by brother and the series would not be available until October. I asked about the price and she stated the sewing/embroidery combo will sell for $6450.00!!!!! Needless to say, I didn't ask the price of just the sewing machine or embroidery machine.

I am a newbie. I only own a sewing machine but I want to start embroidering. I want to do my children's high school football and swim team bags and jackets with their emblem and names for starters.

What machine would you all recommend ?
