You did a wonderful job. This quilt was a fine gift.
Please don't put yourself down for the flaws. IMHO, EVERY quilt has flaws. Early in my quilting career, I was surprised to notice a flaw in a spectacular quilt in an APQS traveling show. I then Looked for flaws and found at least one in each of those really fine quilts. We try to make our quilts as good as we can, but if we are honest with ourselves, we know they are imperfect. We get better as we go along, but nothing is as important ans the love you put into this quilt.

I thank your dad for his service. The quilt you made your dad is beautiful, and very special. I have been helping my dad all I can since my mom passed away this year. Dad's are so special. I am sure your dad loves it. He must be very proud of it and you.
