Your group sounds like a blast! May I ask what part of MS your group calls home? I'm betting nowhere close to me, but it would be fun to say howdy if your group was relatively close.

I think it will be a 20 block quilt with a portion of each block "bargello" and the triangles will fit in the corners of each block like a "photo" frame. (Just using my imagination!) I'd go dark to light in some colors you like, 2 of each size (adding 1/4" each strip set) from 1.5 to 2.75. The strips would be sewn together like a strip quilt, then the "super, duper template" used to cut whatever to sew to the block. LOL! I'm becoming intriged! It might be fun!

Ok, failed to read revised directions that only has you cutting 4 background blocks, so can't be 20 blocks.

fI did the McCalls mystery quilt this year, and for the most part happy with it. There is just one block that I would have used a different fabric but it is still a pretty (red) quilt. Am going to do it again as I like the pattern, but will be picking colors a bit better.

This sounds something like a workshop we had. We made baskets out of our fabric. I think it was called bodacious baskets. check this out: http://www.didiquilts.com/workshops.htm We did the multicolored baskets. Good luck.

Well, I don't have any chocolate on hand... I do have some wonderful white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, though.

I will go watch. All kidding aside, I feel like I'm coming down with something and hope it's a passing thing but my immune system isn't what it used to be and it takes forever to get over stuff. Then again, it could be due to this "I can't get rid of it" gout thing going on taking it's toll.

Mom has to go "feed the vampires" sometime before her next doctor appt on the 17th and since the meeting place is halfway between home and the dr office, if it gets hairy or scary, I'm voting for an early exit to go visit the vampires. Cheesecake waiting when I get home as a reward for at least sticking my head in the door.
