Jaynie, there was a similar thread recently you might be interested in looking at. Check on Search, One Block Wonder (Hibiscus). Sorry, I don't know how to include the link, but I'm sure you will find it. It seems to me that these one block quilts depend hugely on your choice of fabrics. I'm sure if I did it, it wouldn't come out half so interesting to look at.

Try: www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/21115.page it's currently about ninth on the list under 'One Block Wonder' on the search list, with (hibiscus) in brackets after it.

Mine are shown in my album in my profile page.... I've made 4.... one was so ugly! The others I liked a lot. I'm addicted to OBW's. Yours is very nice...... never though about a black and white!!

Default One block wonder

I like your quilt and the fabric you choose. I have done one yet I did not pick a good fabric for mine. Call it my ugly quilt. I have another fabric that I will be making another one soon. They are very interesting due to the diffrent looks from the same fabric. Once I complete my second one will post here. Keep posting your new ones.
Thanks for sharing
Beth
