The fabric that was at my store seemed real cheap. Your decision.

Probably seconds. I've been offered seconds by a company when I was thinking of opening a quilt shop.

If you are not sure about the fabric, buy 1 package and take it home and wash it. If you think it feels fine and it holds it color, you can then go back and buy more. That way you are not buying a lot that you will be disappointed with.

I don't think it is or the quilt shop is selling a knock offs too. Most big name fabric brands are manufactured in India, China or Pakistan. Tuesday Mornings buys overstocks and warehouse buy outs from high end stores and shops. Fun fact: Tuesday Morning sells a lot of their not sold items to Big Lots. I found fat quarter towers at Big Lots that were the same at Tuesday Mornings a season past for pennies on the dollar.
.

I agree! Tuesday Mornings like Big Lots sells overstock and warehouse buy outs from these companies. Our Big Lots has had fabric kits, fq's, and charm squares lately. I have also bought name brand products in Tuesday Mornings which was deeply discounted from what you would pay for in a craft store.

Exactly what I was thinking, factory seconds type of thing or something. I don't think they would sell couterfiet fabric ... they're too visible and too easily caught!

My Tuesday Morning has advertized fat quarter bundles recently but I haven't been there since it started appearing in the flyers.

The local Tuesday Morning where I live sometimes has fat quarters.

Went to TM today. Saw the same fabrics. 7 FQtrs to a bundle. I don't think it is knock-offs. $9.99 (I believe)

I agree with LyndaOH. Maybe it's an Ohio thing since I'm from Ohio too.

Try getting some assistance from an employee at a discount store if and when you have a quilting question.
I am not knocking quilt stores, but savings is savings, why not?
