Default 3 yards = 3 baby quilt tops, part 2

I posted this one about using three yards to make three easy quilt tops.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t202617.html

The Saggy Baggy Elephant fabric was in the back room on a sale shelf for $4/yd at a quilt shop I visited during the Quilt Across Texas in September. Also found the coordinating leaf fabric there. The other fabrics are from Wal-mart. I found the Little Golden Book at Half-Price Books - got three of them. This makes me want to find books to go with each of my baby quilts! I love this pattern!

The one with the elephants in the corners was just too plain so I appliqued some animals across the center. That's the only thing to watch - each fabric must be interesting enough to make the center panel.

I like your idea of adding the applique to the center block. The quilts look great.

A double gift! Two gifts of comfort. How special is that? I always give board books with my baby gifts. That's what retired librarians do, I'm just saying.
