I LOVE scrappy quilts. Look at the pattern "Buggy Wheels""Wagon Wheels". There were pictures posted on the QB of a quilting group making this one...I can't wait until I have enough scraps to make it.
Also I have the book Scrap Basket Surprises by Kim Brackett. There are some really cool scrap quilts in there.

I made my first scrappy and got a lot of compliments on it. If you Google "That Thirties Thing made scrappy" you can see the picture. It was paper pieced but went pretty fast and I enjoyed relaxing and not being concerned whether or not every thing matched up. Enjoy using up your scraps.

I just finished a jigsaw puzzle quilt using 2 1/2 inch strips. It was all scraps from my scrap drawers fun to make and very effective. Would post a picture but can't find my adapter or whatever it's called. Keep misplacing the darn thing!

It's a beautiful quilt!! I love the feathers around the outside. This is meant2be's quilt...

I have color control issues. I found a pattern I like, I have actually made two of them now.

It is the 5th one down, Square Root. I think using the white on white through out and having each block either all the same fabric or color allows me enough control to really like this pattern. The resulting quilts are beautiful.

I am currently working on my third scrap quilt.. (I don't know how, but I woke up one morning, and I had 3 storage bins of fabric!!) The first was a nine patch, the second was one I found in a magazine, the one I am working on now is a sampler quilt, and I think its my favorite! I'll post pictured when I am done, with my third. Now I have 2 and a half more bins to go!!!
