I'm a bit nervous, as I have a lot invested in these and really need to sell them to justify the expense, plus, what will I do with all of them of they do not sell???
Hi, If you Don't Sell them All at the Craft fair Try to Sell them on 'Itsy' bet you could do well there.

I love these bags! They are awesome looking. I would love to make some for Christmas presents. What pattern did you use?

Actually, after seeing a video on the Internet and a free pattern I printed off a while ago, each one is custom made due to the fact each pair of jeans are a bit different. I made straps from one leg, and just cut lining, fuse it with fusible fleece, add pockets, and sew the lining together. Add matching fabric to the straps insert the lining and sew up Rund the top. Make a tie and that's about it. It is a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it, measuring correctly, etc, they go together nicely. You don't really need a pattern.

Yes, I buy children's size jeans, usually with embroidery on legs and pockets when I can, and then pick a youthful print for lining, tie, and strap lining. I have made a few children's bags with jeans so far.

Jill, those are wonderful!!! Are they open at the top or do they close in some way? Do they have pockets, etc inside? Just curious. You have done a great job on them!!! Good luck at your sale. Hugs and smiles!

Thanks, Linda! they are opened at the top. Haven't figured out how to add magnetic snap yet and really don't like Velcro. They have pockets inside, key clip, and matching tissue packet cover.
