What does your metal drip pan look like? I don't know if my fw has one or not or if it should have one. It was my Aunt's machine and she always took excellent care of anything she had. So I am curious, what does this little item look like. Is it on all FW's or just some? Thanks for the info.

It's the bottom. Look u der it, if it's flat and covered with a piece of metal held on with a thumb screw, it has the on. If its open and you can see its gears and innards, the pan is missing.

I would check with Glenn Williams, he stocks lots of original replacement parts. Sew classic is good, but she more often has new replacement parts so may not have a drip pan.
