I have a problem. I'm missing my little guy Sam. I can't fine him. The last time I saw him was on Bettia's quilt. I sure hope he did not get into the box. He sure loved that quilt.

its a pattern by Quilters Haven call "circles". it has a circle template that comes with it. you cut 8" squares, three layers, 1. batting, 2, top fabric right up and then 3. backing face down. draw your circle and then stitch all the way around. Slit close to one edge (will be under melon that is turn under). then you sew them together to form the melons...really fun to do and glad IJM likes it
I'll try and find a web site...be back

LindaR I got yours in the mail this morning. I was reading the directions on the quilt you made for me. I am glad you posted it because I was starring at it last night trying to figure out how you did it lol. It really is very pretty. I am keeping all mine together so (one day) when we get to buy a house I am going to hang them on the wall of which ever little corner I will get to claim as my sewing area. I read that on this board and thought it was a great idea. I wonder if we could get the people who do that to post pictures of their doll quilt walls. That would be neat.
