Broken Walking Foot
#11
There are also $100.00 ones that was the price for my Viking walking foot. But sure love it. Fits great and works great.

Yes, my Brother walking foot broke 2 weeks ago -- but first it stood up on the base and snapped the needle -- gave me quite a shock! I took it back to the local sewing machine repairer where I bought it 3 years ago and he tried to fix it but said it had twisted on the sled-like base and lost a small pin (which I hope has not ended up in the bobbin case). I haven't used it that much 3-4 quilts per year, so I asked about sewing in reverse, which I usually do at start and end of sewing and he said that should not be a problem. I have, on occasion, pulled the quilt slightly to one side to avoid a seam, but didn't admit to doing that. Anyway, he couldn't fix it so I bought a new foot and resolved to be more careful with the $50 foot.
