Default We brought home my new Laura Ashley NX-2000 today!! :-)

I love my new sewing machine! I've been getting familiar with it since suppertime and it is amazing! My husband couldn't hear it running from three feet away! It's like whisper mode! Amazing! It sews like a dream, even with the fancy stitches. I also like that thread cutting mode because I think it's going to save a lot of thread for me over time. So far, I have not found anything I don't like on it! I wound a bobbin so I could work with it and it liked to scare me out of five years growth when it took off on its own!

Well, I can't keep my eyes open any longer, but I had to share my excitement and tell you how amazing this machine is!! I love it!! I had saved over half the money for it, so my DH put in the rest so I could get it for Christmas! Isn't he sweet? After 40 yrs together, I wouldn't trade him for anything!! Good night all, going to go dream about all the super quilts I'm going to make with this machine! :-)

Merry X-mas, enjoy your new baby, and congratulations on the 40 years. Most can only hope to have long lasting love like that

CONGRATS! Have fun! It's hard to wipe that smile off your face isn't it?! You'll be grinning in your sleep!
    Was it worth the wait?

Oh yes it was!! I love it! I'm SO thrilled with it! It's like it sews in "whisper mode". Joe couldn't hear it sewing less than 3 feet away from me! :-) He said the only way he knew I was sewing was because he saw the flywheel turning on the end!
