Concrete floors can be a problem. I used a really good concrete paint in my sewing room and it started coming up in one week. In my bedroom I used the leftover wall paint and it is still good 2 1/2 years later. Go figure!

Thank you for all your kind words. The floor was treated with acid first and the paint which was specific for concrete floors had an additive like a fine sane in it. DH mate who is a retired painter supervised the job. He couldn't do it himself as he had a stroke earlier in the year. He is coming after New Year to paint it again. The paint lifted mainly where my feet are under the tables but other patches have lifted too. Disappointing to say the least.
If the problem can't be fixed I will lay vinyl flooring.

I haven't sorted all my fabrics yet but must admit I couldn't believe how much I had stashed away. This is just a small part of my stash. I ended up buying another cupboard and will still have some in plastic bins.

We had our back porch cement floor painted. The guy said if the cement was poured without a moisture barrier the paint would peel. The cement floor in garage has a barrier and the paint hasn't peeled but the back porch floor peeled in a month. Moisture is in the cement if it has no moisture barrier underneath. We scraped the back porch floor smooth and have to leave it natural cement because of the no barrier. Who pours cement flooring with no moisture barrier? DH asked the previous owner/builder why did he do such a stupid thing. His reply was he saved money because it was just a porch floor.
