Default ISO Black and red fabric line or Navy and Red

I have finally found a pattern that I will use for a quilt for my Mum. I am now looking for about 20 different fabrics. I am wanting black, red and perhaps one other colour. I would love to find one line that would have enough variation in it as black and red can both be really hard to match.

I tried a quick google search of black and red quilt fabric, but was not too successful.

The other option would be navy, red and perhaps a pale buttery yellow.

I am planning a lap quilt and will probably use Minkee on the back.

I had a quick look at Connecting Threads, they had a nautical blue and red, but that would not work, and Keepsake Quilting, but did not see anything at either store.

I would love a variety of prints in different scales ranging from solid black to solid red and everything in between. Or as I said about Navy and Red.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I would consider a jelly roll, but would rather have a minimum of 3 inch wide strips.

    Thank you,

    Michelle

Henry Glass had a line called black currant - the red is a deep red....not sure if it is still available but you could look on quiltshops.com. Good luck.

You can also try FindMyFabric.com. You can search by fabric name of colors. It is a great sight to find discontinued fabrics.

I found an image the Black Currant line, that is just the thing I am looking for. I know know what to search for online and at my local quilt shops.

Check out Mama Said Sew by sweetwater. It's mostly black and red, with grey and off white as well. It can be found at fat quarter shop and a lot of local stores right now.

Try any of these fabric search engines and just type black and red in the search box. You'll get lots of results...thousands.
