Speaking of all in the fabric----------a good while back there was a stunning quilt called "lava flow". If I recall, the pattern was the very easy and quick Turning 20--------------------but in fantastic red/black and I think orange batiks.

This is where I saw the Lava Flow quilt. It's a good ways down the page.

When I googled a lava flow quilt, I got bunches of images---------only one close to this one. Very close but I don't think this is the same one. It's image P9194438.jpg from kimitsallaboutme's blog
