    Default Rooster from Tuscany

I was recently given a large 3 foot tall ceramic rooster that I had admired for many years. I thought it would make a really cute wall hanging. It isn't like most of my work but I wanted something fast and easy. Naturally I had to change the colors(I had some batik scraps leftover) but I like how it turned out. I hope I can get it quilted this weekend. I think that will improve it a lot. The first picture is of the statue.

You did such a good job of choosing fabrics--it's great. Also gives me inspiration to try something with a photo. Thanks so much for sharing.
