LindaR you would have maybe gotten by cheaper had the items fit into a flat rate box. The medium one holds alot of stuff (this is the size I always use) and mails for $12.35 with the included tracking. The boxes are free at the post office.

I shipped early this month because I wanted to send some Valentine stuff...I should have sent it last month but stupidly was all caught up in snowmen!!!! I wish, Starshine, I was an over achiever...I wouldn't have a pile of UFO's like I do..so many I had forgotten a few of them! LOL I dearly love this swap and all the fun that goes with it.

On the re-gifting subject: I usually let my SP know in my note that if they don't like something or can't use it to feel free to pass it on. I know I don't have the space to keep everything that comes over the doorstep and I bet there are others also. This month, I just wrote my note and forgot to say so, so SP if you don't like something, pass it on. I know there are others who feel differently, which is why I usually specify.

My package just got packed this morning and needs to wait till I feel up to fighting with the postage printing. Sheesh, it seems to get more complicated every month. Partly cause I'm using Dh's computer and he has adblocker, which sees the printed label as a pop-up and it's not real clear what I need to do to get it to print...but fear not SP, I promise I will get it into the mail before the deadline.

Sp, another hint, you have a pet. And I've never been to your state. And you've got grandkid (s).

I hope if someone gets something from me that they won't use that they pass it on. Why have it sit in the drawer or the garbage. I'm thinking of doing this too, I will say I received this from----and won't use it or already have so many that I thought they might be able to put it to use. I do want to make sure the person that made it gets credit where credit is due. Just can't think of a reason it should sit here and just hang out.

I'm all for re-gifting. We Scots are known for thriftiness (among other things, which we won't go into here, lol ). I often forget to say in my letter that I'd be happy for anything I send to be passed on. I've not done it myself yet, but like Jaba, will say so if I do.

I agree with the re-gifting. The only problem is, I have a hard time pulling from my stash of notions because you swappers send such great stuff. I love all things hand made except table runners. My husband keeps the table covered with his "Stuff." I really love to look at them, but have no use for them. I would never mind if someone gave away what I gave them or made for them.

I'll re-gift too, if I don't use something, OR I get duplicates of something.

Mailed my package to my Secret Pal. Should arrive on Sat the 9th. Her zip totals 18, and her least favorite color is Pink.

Ok, package is done, but one more thing she wants which will stop by my LQS to hopefully, see if they have it. Can't seem to find the color she wants anywhere else! Then it's is sealed and off to the post office! It is going to a bordering state to me, and zip adds up to 18.
