I think it is a very pretty quilt, and I don't think there is anything ugly about it, but I would change the border in some way. The floral border seems a bit busy for the quilt.

My suggestion - stop calling it your ugly quilt; it's lovely. If it were mine I'd take off that dark solid-looking border and let it end with the floral border. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.

I agree with all who have suggested removing the green border. And it definitely is NOT an ugly quilt! I think it is lovely!

I like it as it is. I reminds me of french country style.

I agree with a change to the borders - too busy for my taste - a simple, plain colour would make a nice change , just my humble opinion. It is a nice quilt though - just a little change would add to its beauty.

I didn't realize it had the green border until I read down. I think I would just take it off and it you need a border I would suggest one of the blue colors in the quilt. I love the quilt, love the colors(except the green)

I think it's very pretty the way it is.

I agree with removing the green border. I would use the green as binding.

I would remove the green and the small floral print and replace them with a blue - the darker blue. Or put a yellow smal print next to the light blue border - somewhat wider than the light blue - and a darker solid or small print next to the yellow. Green for binding, OK, or the lt blue, yellow or darker blue.
