Have purchased classes but am waiting until my next project before watching. Looking forward to assistance and tips from them.

Thank you for asking the question. I have not done one yet but received a coupon from Jan Krentz this week for her class. It includes a downloadable version of her book. So I think I will try out a free one to see how it works with my computer and internet connection.

Thank you for all the feedback! I'm thinking about the ones that Jennie Doan is teaching.

I use them, and learn something each and every time! I think they are worth the money, especially when on sale.

I am enrolled in more than a dozen quilting classes. I haven't finished all of them; but have learned so much from each instructor. My first class was Jenny Doan's Quilting Quickly. I keep going back to that class and her Quilting Quickly 2 and making those easy quilts. I especially like the free BOM classes. I have learned to make blocks that I would never have tried without those classes. Now, I am finishing Chain of Stars Mystery Quilt. I am so thrilled with my quilt and I learned several time saving tips that will be so helpful when making future quilts. I'm a real Craftsy fan!

Like fanc36, I am also enrolled in more than a dozen classes both quilting and sewing. There are a few that I didn't enjoy, have received refunds on 3, but the majority I have really enjoyed.

I like *most* of the teachers but there are some that drive me crazy, I think that's a personal preference.

*TIP* If you don't like a class, give it a 2 star review and you will get a refund.

I'm trying the 2012 BOM. It's interesting and learning a couple of new things that I was curious about. I can't tell when the posts from the class questions and answers are dated. I looked at the 2013 BOM, can't figure out how to do that as a QAYG,so spaced it. Tried Leah Day's class - lost interest. I don't want to FMQ that way. I want the old stencils and I deal with one block at a time. I hate to say it, but some of the effusive language like "sweet, cute, darling" turn me off.

Was interested in that one that someone mentioned with stencils, but if it mostly applies to long armers and she's selling rulers, it will be a no go.

I am also enrolled in several Craftsy classes and have learned a lot. The format is great. I did learn in last years BOM that I DO NOT like to make hexagons! Some classes I haven't completed yet but I bought them when they were on sale. When a new one comes out it seems pricey for my budget but eventually they will have a special sale or if you wait a while it does go down in price.

I have taken most of the quilting classes. The Civil war, Kim Einmo, Jenny Doan, they are all great and I refer to them all the time, Quilting Quickly 1 and 2 is all with precuts. the others are regular yardage.
