Remember Julian Fellows as Kilwillie on Monarch of the Glen? I really enjoyed that series too, but Ballykissangel was my all time favorite! When main characters leave they are very hard to replace. The PBS Advance magazine says Matthew is back in the Christmas episode, maybe in spirit?

I love Downton Abbey too! The finale was VERY shocking, Matthew and Mary - how nice to have a show with a happy relationship. Your teatime mat is really cute. Can't you just hear Maggie Smith 'tsk tsk' as you sip your tea!!

On the premier of the season 3, the local paper did a full page, front page of the entertainment section on Downton Abbey. One of the old theaters in town was doing a fund raiser showing and the goers were encouraged to come in period dress. I then decided to watch once to see what the deal what is. I'm hooked.
I love the tea mat. Where did you get the fabric?

My understanding was that the guy who plays Matthew wanted out. Too bad "Mary" didn't want to leave!
