    Default Praire-point problem

Hi Quilting friends>> I am wondering how I am supposed to attach praire-points to a quilt that will be long arm quilted, attach before or after the quilting process?

IMHO, I would attach them AFTER the top is quilting.

Here is a you tube video ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPe2tBLdmac

I would tell the LAer that is what you are planning to do and she will help you decide how much room she should leave unquilted around the edges.

I put mine on after quilting is all done, that way they don't get in the way.

After the quilting is done. TIP: Don't trim all the extra backing and batting off. Trim them to about one or two inches bigger than the top. This gives the feed dogs something to ride on as you sew the points on and also when sewing the binding on. Trim to the edge of the quilt after these steps are done. peace
