Touch of the Irish
#20
What a sweet aunt you are. You should know though, that these images may resonate more with Irish Anericans than with people who are actually from Ireland.
The claddagh ring is definitely current but leprechauns gold and lucky horseshoes not really. Why not just take the time to ask her about her Ireland? So often people are not interested in the lives migrants had before they arrived...... Just a suggestion. Don't want to offend anyone.

Where could I get a pattern for the embroidery you show here. It's absolutely beautiful! My nephew married a girl from Ireland that he met on the internet, and I would love to do something like this for her. She doesn't get to see her family very often and is pretty lonesome for anything to do with Ireland. Although I don't do very much embroidery work, I would be willing to do this for her with your help.
