Default I WANT a LA - but where to put it? They are huge!

I don't want to give up my guest room, and hubby says I can't take over the photography studio, so that rules out all non-essential rooms in the house. Where do I put one?

Do you have a basement or a garage? If you live in the country, do you have a building that you could use? I understand your problem, I,too, don't have room in my house for one. Have you ever considered quilt as you go patterns? I made one and it turned out beautiful! Just a thought.

Wish I knew. I have a sewing room but it wouldn't fit. Cannot take over the guess room. I either wait for son to go to College or choose a sit down LA. Those fit in a small place and you can extend the surface for more support. I sat dow on one yesterday at a show but work on samples so I dont know how bad it is the dragging of the quilt.
Let us know if you figure out were to put it!

How often do you have guests in the guest room? If it is only one or two times a year, take it over, you can probably come up with another solutions for over night guests.

I took over our guest bedroom for a sewing room 11 years ago. Never looked back. We have a sofa bed in dh's office and an RV in the driveway where we can put up guests. discovered most guests want to sleep in the RV.

I guess- I would set it up opposite the bed in the guest room. A duel purpose room.

I don't have a guest room. Have RV in side driveway. No more often than we have out of town visitors, we off the RV or pay their motel bill. But the Statler stays (hubby says we have a quilting house).
