Side by side comparison

I'm as non-traditional as they come, but I prefer the beige. It's a lovely color, and backs up the drama of the star without being lost itself, while the print seems to undermine the starring role (pardon the pun) of the centerpiece star. Its colors are just right, but the pattern is too lightweight. Would make a pretty back, though, especially a pieced back with some of the other fabrics..

It's interesting.. so many have said that the star/flower/bubble print on Option Two distracts one from the focal star. I actually like it better because it -doesn't- distract me from the star. It's light and airy. The first option.. all I see is a heavy wall of beige. I can't take my eyes away from it.

If the point of the fabric is to make the center medallion be the focus of all that work - I would avoid B (the fabric with the little circles) because I think it is very distracting from the medallion.
I agree that it is a very bright, fun fabric.
But not with that medallion. In my opinion.
