I shopped for the brown and red fabric - the horses were in my stash :-)

Wow, Mareliba, that border is fantastic!! Makes me feel a little intimidated, knowing that's coming my direction yet.

Suzie - you said the store had the perfect fabric and you sure weren't kidding - it's truly perfect. I need some of that for my GD's quilt.

These last borders are so perfectly suited to the block, there's virtually no sense of "addition".

I don't have a large stash (hope that doesn't disqualify me as being a real quilter). I got to go shopping this time and discovered a new-to-me fabric store in the process. I'm hoping that I don't have anything in my stash for future rounds either.

I always wait until I have the center, then look thru my stash, then go shopping! I got lucky with the fabrics for Lori's center as we only have 1 small shop within 2 hours of where I live.

Love the borders so far. I am perplexed on what I am going to do with the next one, but have a few idea's going thru my head.

Lori - Feel free to mail it on early to me.
