I googled Scrabble fabric, and it came up in several places. Think I got it from Fabric. com

I made a graph from the playboard so that I would have the colored squares representing Double Word, Triple Word, etc. in the correct positions. I also cut the grey squares to fill in the background. Probably could have used strips, but found it easier just working all with squares. Then I cut out letters and started putting up words on my design wall. All my squares were 2 3/4" - the size of the letters once cut out.

How creative!!! I hope you consider doing a picture tutorial of how you did it all-like you shared in a posting to Quilt-Til-U-Wilt. Bet there are many out there who would love to do one for a special someone.
