that's a good idea. maybe use these blocks as a center medallion and encircle them with faster ones. anything to speed up the work. it'll still be your own great work and a great gift. wasn't that the plan all along?

That is a beautiful quilt! However, I would hate to have to make it, especially with a time limit.

I also can't seem to say "No." My nerves are shot because of so many projects, and none of them what I wanted to be finishing of my own!

Ya know, I just realized. No one in my family has ever asked me to make them a quilt. Hmmm. Maybe they know that while I would definitely make one for THEM, if they asked me to make one for someone else for them to give, I would invite them over for lessons so they could make it themselves! :P
