    The middle one was the first lap quilt, and the last mini quilt... I used a piped binding that our instructor had sent me a link to... maybe...probably...from this site. Anyway, the tutorial was easy to follow and I do think it makes the quilt a stand out.

    Thank you. I had just enough scraps to do these, and besides at the initial concept stage I needed so much practice on getting my 1/4 inch seams to be consistent. Since minis are less forgiving, it seemed a good discipline.

    I kept construction of these under wraps until now, except my daughter caught me in the act (without comment). I think she may have thought I was making them to give to her, but (surprise, surprise) I was not!
