my old grandma made one years ago she just cut squares and crochet them together. I've washed it many times and it is still nice.

Crazy quilts were made of wool. I would love to see your wools pieced and then the turkey work done on the seams, etc. Have fun.

I have a million ideas swirling around in my head ... but first I need to scrape off all the labels on each piece. A long process to do while watching tv in the evening.

Did you go to that sale on the4th??! I found an estate sale advertised eith great vintage fabrics and linens after it had ended and i was so disappointed!! Glad you got a great haul! If you do any primitive work maybe a wall hanging would work or some penny rugs??

I was just going to send this link to you but I see you already found it. Someone posted this earlier on the QB. I had forgotten about using wool pieces this way. It will make a great blanket for us someday but I don't have enough wool yet. Purl Bee is a great blog as they always have some neat thing on the site and plenty of tutorials. Good luck with whatever you decided to do with your lucky wool find.

Yes, that was the one. You didn't miss anything ... except the wool samples!

I agree with Nan, I spent time and money at Salvation Army buying skirts and pants. ripped them apart and washed and dried them . Cut 7 inch squares and made a beautiful quilt for my son, He just loves it. Best thing he can wash it and not worry about it.
