    I have the same exact painting (by Hargrove) hanging in this room. I purchased it @25 yrs ago at a "painting party" hosted by a friend.....in fact I have alot of his paintings.

    You really got a bargain........I believe I paid @$100 + for it 25 yrs ago. I guess the donor didn't realize the value.
    Enjoy it....I have mine.

    I too have quite a few of his paintings. Sometimes I think people just don't know what they are giving up or maybe they just have too much money they just don't care. I know what I paid for my paintings and they are worth more than what I paid for this one. I have been wanting this painting for quite awhile now, I just love it. I now have it hanging in my sewing/quilting/office room
